About us

Watson & Watson is a consultancy created by Sonia Watson and Sue Watson (we are not related!). We work with a team of experienced and talented associate consultants. They range from occupational psychologists and academics to established business leaders. We are all specialists in the fields of: Global Diversity & Inclusion Strategies, Leadership and Talent-Management Programmes, Change Management and Organisational Development. Our primary focus is on delivering innovative, cost effective solutions.

We believe that change when carried out sensitively can improve our Client's bottom line. For some clients this means focussing on risk mitigation throughout the change process, for others it is about enhancing profitability, harnessing hidden opportunities and measurably improving performance the performance of their most valuable assets…their employees.

The team has more than 30 years experience in the fields of diversity, organisational change, and leadership development. We have designed, implemented and supported programmes within the private, public and third sectors.


Sonia Watson MBA (Dist), ILM, MBTI (practitioner)

Sonia Watson

Sonia specialises in Human Resource and Business Consulting with particular expertise in change management, recruitment and retention strategies, leadership development, diversity management and executive coaching.

She designed and delivered the ground-breaking “NHS Breaking Through” Leadership and Development Programme – for which the lead director has recently been awarded the O.B.E. for leadership development services to BME employees.

In her previous career, Sonia enjoyed a career in Corporate Strategy and Banking with the Barclays Group. She regularly publishes papers on diversity and delivers talks to organisations and Schools on motivation and all aspects of career and management development.


Sue Watson FCCA, MTQ48 (practitioner)

Sue Watson

Sue has led on several projects covering all aspects of Management and Business Consulting with particular expertise in diversity management, change management, recruitment and retention strategies. 

Sue is a qualified accountant and with this discipline, she focuses on the financial business benefits and opportunities of every intervention she collaborates on.

Using her experience in business and risk management, Sue designs and develops innovative, pragmatic and challenging programmes that focus on learning, well- being and development of individuals and teams. Sue is an accredited practitioner of the psychometric assessment instrument MTQ48 Mental Toughness and an executive coach. 

Previously, Sue spent 15 years of her career in Business Management at 2 Global Investment Banks and latterly as a senior diversity professional in financial services at Citi.
