Giving back

"Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more"

We have both been the recipients of support from volunteers, especially in our early careers. When we started Watson & Watson, we wanted to be able to give back to our local and global community. We decided very early one of our values as an organisation is give back to society.

Volunteering is a great way for us to use our skills to help others, and at the same time learn something new about ourselves and the community we live in.

Organisations we support:

St Matthew Academy

St Matthew Academy Lewisham, a fantastic school in Lewisham. Re opened in 2007, the school has managed to evaporate problems of the past and work on building a future for the pupils who attend. We support the teachers and pupils with mentoring, and motivational workshops.

Urban Synergy

Urban Synergy - Instilling a sense of self-belief in young people is something that Urban Synergy -The Mentor Resource Pool™ – is passionate about. Urban Synergy helps young people between 11-18 years of age, mostly of African-Caribbean and minority ethnic heritage to reach their full potential through their own brand of innovative benefit-led programmes. Sue is currently a volunteer with Urban Synergy

The Gumboots Foundation

The Gumbots Foundation

The Gumboots Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in South Africa and registered as a UK charity. Gumboots provide an avenue for people living in the UK who are interested in making a difference to South Africa's future. By supporting community based projects, together with local leadership, Gumboots helps change the life chances of some of the country's poorest people. Instead of holding a client Christmas party, we made a donation to the Gumboots Foundation.
